Performance Notes

Join us for the soulful sounds of "Jim Berry and Benevolence”.

Widely known as a busy, multi-tasking TV personality, CBS4 Sportscaster and broadcast journalist Jim Berry is also a devout singer and an accomplished lyricist who has recorded and composed several original tunes. A long-time Miami resident originally from Hyde Park, Chicago, Jim has received 5 Emmys and 3 Best of Miami, and the Silver Circle Award of Excellence from the Suncoast Chapter of the National Society of Arts and Sciences for distinguished journalism. Jim Berry is a Jazz singer with a smooth, soulful touch and his own contemporary style. His newest recording SMOOTH SAILIN’ reflects his deep appreciation for the classic tunes from Jazz to R&B with a blend of Jazz standards, original compositions, and new arrangements of R&B classics. Join us for a great evening of "old school, good time, soulful music" and be sure to have your dancin' shoes on!
