Belly Dance Stories is a women's empowerment theater production directed by Alexandra Molina and Valerick Molinary. It was created to honor the art of "Raks Sharqi" (a.k.a. "Oriental Dance" and "Belly Dance"), and highlight the voices of our South Florida Belly Dance community.
Belly Dance is a powerful tool that connects us with others and with ourselves. The artists in this production are women who come from all walks of life and of all ages - mothers, daughters, professionals of non-artistic fields, students.... Through their creative performances, you will hear them tell their tale and express through dance and choreography, stories about strength, joy, rights of passage, and so much more.
This is a PG13 performance. Not recommended for patrons under the age of 13.
