The Moth StorySLAM is a community-focused, open-mic storytelling competition in which anyone can share a five-minute story on the night’s theme. The MOTH hosts live storytelling events in cities around the world, and Fantasy Theatre Factory is thrilled to welcome The Miami MOTH to it's StorySLAM home at the beautiful Sandrell River's Theater!

The THEME for the evening is LOVE HURTS.

Prepare a five-minute tale about a love that made you go OUCH. The agony of deferred love! The misery of good love, gone bad! The anguish of one-way love! Bring stories of your heart, kicked to the curb by the people or places or things you love...or used to love. Love that "Hurts So Good" also welcome.

Sunshine Jazz Organization presents The Tal Cohen Trio!

The SJO is very happy to welcome back Grammy award winning jazz pianist Tal Cohen and his Trio. Cohen has received much acclaim, winning the Barry Harris National Piano Competition, a recipient of the prestigious Freedman Fellowship, and performing to sold out crowds at the Sydney Opera House. He continues to tour the world with magnificent partners including with trumpeter John Daversa in Tal Cohen "The Art of the Duo", Terence Blanchard, Greg Osby, Ignacio Berroa, Joe Lovano and many others.

El proyecto es el estreno mundial de una obra bilingüe que incorpora actores, músicos e imágenes multimedia sobre el singular piloto aficionado de globos aerostáticos de Portugal. Matías Pérez. Su desaparición le valió un lugar en la historia y la cultura popular cubana, convirtiéndose en símbolo de audacia e invención.
