Supported by South Florida's leading galleries, museums, theaters, the festival will feature a series of Butoh programs, including expressive workshops, transformative photography and video exhibitions, enlightening seminars and enchanting performances. art enthusiasts, artists, and anyone with an innovative spirit.

An internationally acclaimed South Florida-based Butoh cultural organization, PIArtButoh contributes to the growth and evolution of Butoh art on a global scale with its avant-garde Japanese Butoh performance art projects and festivals.

PIARTBUTOH is presenting the 1st International South Florida Butoh Festival

Butoh Talk & Film screening event is a unique opportunity to delve into the mysterious world of Butoh, gaining insight and inspiration into this distinctive art form!

Pınar Sinka is a Butohist of the Tokyo Space Dance and founder of the PIArtButoh, will shed light on the essence of Butoh, its philosophy and aesthetic approach, its evolution from classical to contemporary forms and both Japanese and International Butoh topics during this event.

Following the talk, we will watch Butoh master Yoshito Ohno’s A way of Life - Flower & Bird Butoh film, that will both provoke thought and evoke emotions!
